Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission—and if he fails, humanity and the earth itself will perish.

Except that right now, he doesn’t know that. He can’t even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it.

All he knows is that he’s been asleep for a very, very long time. And he’s just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

His crewmates dead, his memories fuzzily returning, Ryland realizes that an impossible task now confronts him. Hurtling through space on this tiny ship, it’s up to him to puzzle out an impossible scientific mystery—and conquer an extinction-level threat to our species.

And with the clock ticking down and the nearest human being light-years away, he’s got to do it all alone.

Or does he?

Why should I read this book?

The story is a one big mystery that is revealed slowly bit by bit.
Maybe the science isn’t always accurate but the amout of details Andy puts in his writing is astonishing.

This is the kind of details I like to read in adventures and action.
We learn fully how the world in Project Hail Mary works and what kind of problems they solve.

If you like Mystery, Science fiction and a good friendship story this is a must to read.

My reading experience

First time I’ve held this book I couldn’t get hold of it until page 120 (When it was too late already to be reading).
These kind of books make you linger until you completly dehydrate yourself or complete it in one go :)

I really want to talk more about the story itself but I don’t want to reveal any tiny bit of spoilers for the readers who want to read this magnificent book!

Thanks for reading!
